[indians] verify paypal using credit card from icici ;-)

    I heard that i can get a credit card by just depositing aroung 10k-40k in icici account !
    is this true?
    my question is : what is the actual procedure to get this kind of card?what is the name of this card?and can it be used to verify paypal account?
    I want some good indians to help me out plzzz

    Hi,

    I have an account with ICICI bank and I checked with them about the CC. They said that for getting a CC, I should fill a form, provide identity proof (for ex. passport copy or PAN card). I can get it.It is like international CC. Normally, ICICI bank requires u to have a balance of Rs. 10,000 minimum.
    Regarding the paypal, I feel Paypal does not accept ICICI bank CC. I don't know that exactly because I haven't used it but you can give it a try. What I did was, I registered my dad's CC with my paypal account and once verified, I removed the CC details from paypal. You can try this too..

    Yes,just go and visit your nearest ICICI branch,they can give u all the details.

    Wait a minute. You can get a credit card with no income proof whatsoever? I like this country. ;)
