Can anybody answer this? No. of Indian users = ? Avg amount of each user = ? No. of days your money in their account = ? Calculate the interest on that = ? Paypal does not do charity. And even we don't do. Its all business. We pay to Paypal their portions. But look at the interest accumulated during Feb 2010. And then add all your mental agony, pain, stress and sleepless night.
Well you cannot just blame PayPal, It's RBI that forced them to pause their operations and to add it it's their fault that they are not giving regular updates.
I believe paypal is at fault. The guidance has been issued by RBI a long time back. Paypal should have taken appropriate steps then.
Paypal should be banned. Its my personal view. Because of paypal many online businesses has closed their business specially GPT sites are suffered greatly. The problem caused by paypal is immense. You will not hear any objection about alertpay,moneybookers and other payment processors. But about paypal you will hear always. Boycott paypal for some days. And then they will understand how much suffer they cause to the people.
Sounds great but practically not possible , that is why paypal always never think about their customers as they know they don't have any other option.
Not necessarily we can use Indian gateways.they may be less advanced when compared to paypal but they are at least reliable The problem is the technology and the governance in our country is not at pace with the working talent and their needs
I understand that PayPal did not comply with RBI, now can you please explain me why was Xoom stopped by RBI for intra-india money transfers ? Xoom filed up everything with RBI !
Hmmm!!!!! Paypal is good only for cvountries like USA and UK. I dont know why buy paypal hates countries like India , Nepal , south east Asian countries , middle east and african countries.
Intra India Money transfer was never allowed by xoom but for some wierd reason some people (including me) were able to withdraw money using xoom.
Agree with above statement. We were luckyenough to withdraw money from indian paypal account to indian bank account using xoom as Intra India Money transfer not allowed from the beginning. DON.
