I've been using MB for years now and have INR set as my currency. However, I find that I have to pay some fees for every receipt even though MB says receipts are free (personal account).

I was wondering if I switch to a more widely used currency like USD/EUR as primary currency for my account, I won't have to pay any fees for receiving.

Also, while withdrawing to bank, MB sends in EUR, so I pay convesrion markup fees again.

My Indian moneybookers user friends, which currency do you set for your account and your feedback/thoughts on this please.

Lastly, if you withdraw via bank transfer, did you need to intimate your bank for the incoming forex transfer? How much did they charge and what bank?

There is no need to intimate your bank for the incoming money from moneybookers. They charge nothing in my case as i am using HDFC bank for this though you need to pay conversion charge for EUR to INR and you aware about that.
