Im from India Want to send Money abroad Through Western union but in my area WU doesnt send money abroad it only receives it even money gram has the same issue worried
Try Local Main Post Office in your city, Indian Postal Department do have offshore money sending facility
India doesn't support money sending through western union , it only works for recieving money from abroad via western Union. Try wire transfer , or xoom or SBI(State Bank Of India) net2money service.
According to the RBI restrictions, Indians can receive money through services like ' Western Union & Money Gram ' and cannot use them to sent the same offshore, For sending money to a foreign country recipient , You would be required to visit your bank, Fill up a wire transfer form and your money would be in the recipients account in 2 to 5 days or send him across a D.D or a Cheque
goto SBI and you will be able to send money to oversea in very easy steps.... and also SBI issue international cheques.... for cheques you will need the name of the person and the bank account number and SBI will issue the cheque... and you can send the cheque by mail... but i think SBI have even more faster ways... so contact SBI for more details...
