If withdrawals were being held back... simply for stricter implementation of PAN numbers, why would only the withdrawals dtd. 7 and 8th get stuck and people would not have received any money at all for the date 9th withdrawal as well! I guess... the hitch is due to some technical issue with Paypal on these dates... just as we observed on certain dates in the past! Regards, RightMan

I hope this problem gets resolved this week. It's been a very stressful weekend with bank withdrawal in pending mode and the speculation about the PayPal email. Hard to get anything constructive done if we have to constantly check is PayPal for India is alive or dead.
Yes just checked the withdrawal from 7th is still pending ???????? and yet no blog post from PayPal on the email sent ?

Hi All, Everybody has put their status, but nobody has mentioned if they have submitted their PAN card details or not. I haven't entered my PAN card number, my withdrawal was on 9th - status -PENDING. I want to know, is my money being held up due to the missing PAN card details or is there any other reason? Thanks
Had you been following these threads as closely as the people who are affected, you'd have known that many DPers have mentioned that they have submitted their PAN details to PP but yet have the funds stuck. That includes me. I added my PAN details without any problem, within 2-3 days of PayPal introducing that prompt at login, but my funds withdrawn on 8th are still stuck with "PENDING" status. ALL withdrawals of 7th and 8th are stuck. Some withdrawals of 6th are stuck and some of 9th. All withdrawals done on 10th or later are coming through smoothly. There is no correlation to submission or non-submission of PAN with this. Guys wake up and don't ask the same questions again and again.
Hi, I think you have got confused for no reason, the above post by "buyerss" answers the status of all dates, all i wanted to find out was if PAN numbers have any bearing in the result of withdrawals, as i had a successful withdrawal to my 6th Apr. request. even without entering the PAN details. hello, i had withdrawn funds to my bank account on 7th April, but till date it is showing pending status. i spoke to paypal customer service on this issue but they just say that you will receive funds by 5 - 7 working days in my bank. When i asked them about the exact date i shall get the funds in my bank account ten they said that i could expect it till 20th or may be 24th of this month. so i really feel that again paypal is using our monies to buy their expenses, as of now there are no issues with RBI or such. Paypal is only trying to misuse our monies everytime.
