    I don't understand why many are trying to disprove the others. The simple fact is, a woman was refused a chance to live and how does it matter whether it was by a piece of law or by a religious diktat.

    the doctors clearly knew the foetus(child) had no chance of survival. the lady and husband literally begged to doctors. but the inhumane doctors did not save her.
    now somebody tell me what kind of catholic law is that??
    and irish government seems to be protecting the doctors.

    This is totally a shocking news for people all over the world, is the life of a human being who is living right now more than the life of an unborn child? How can the doctors be so cruel by not saving the mother?
