Indian Student Brutally Killed in US...(Fifth Case in this year)

    A female student from India (hailing from Andhra Pradesh state) was found murdered in the US by unidentified persons in the fifth case of a young post-graduate student from the state being killed under mysterious circumstances in that country in the last one year.

    This is really sad.. She was a software Engineer. Around 10 Indians have been murdered since November 2007..

    WOW. This is really unfortunate. I pray that this was random and not targeted, as a few of my friends actually had to leave university after being the target of harrassments after 9/11. My heart goes out to her family and all families who suffer loss. :( This really makes me sad. I hope they catch the person who did it.

    Curious to know what colleges in the USA are you seeing harassment or murder of Indians.

    The US colleges are some of the most liberal, non-judgemental, non-bigoted, free spirited, non-racists places on earth. Or so I have been told.

    I can understand that... It happens everywhere.But, it is so unfortunate.. And people do tend to give it names like racial abuse for incidents like that... I dont see any relationship between racial discrimination and rapes in such cases...
