{Indian PP users please help me} Is pan card necessary to withdraw the money?

    Please help me. I have attached my bank account, i want to withdraw the money from paypal, but i dont have any pan card. I am yet to apply for it.

    Can i withdraw the money without attaching the pan card. This is the first time i am withdrawing to bank account.

    Yes you can - PAN card is not mandatory for paypal use till now - so you can easily withdraw your money

    Entering PAN number is not yet compulsory but you never know. Paypal can make it mandatory at the drop of a hat.... as and when RBI instructs it to do so! If you intend to use Paypal for long... it is advisable to get a PAN number asap! :)

    Yes for successful use of paypal you must have to Pan card in coming time.

    What if someone has 2 PP accounts (Personal & Premiere) and only has 1 PAN card ?

    You can add one Pan Card to only anyone paypal account. Still confusion ..

    Currently PAN Adding is still in testing stages and its not even compulsary so we can only add 1 acc

    While that is absolutely true, personal accounts are no longer available for Indian users as per the paypal's compliance with RBI rules.

    We can withdraw money from paypal to bank comfortably without PAN card. No problems. I am doing the same from last one year.

    You are wrong. One can have a personal / premiere account or personal / business account & a premiere / business account.

    Just checked at PayPal India signup you can still open a personal account!

    Paypal is not verifying your pan card number. So just typing a number like this 'ABCDE1234F' may get accepted by paypal. But don't use this trick for a permanent use as your transactions may get blocked until you obtain a real pan number :)

    Good u made ur first transfer , next time , try to enter ur Pan card first than do it , as u dont know paypal may stop ur payment if no pan card is attached :)
