Yes you may be correct !

I also saw this now only

and this seems to be a error as it shows that withdrawal limit is only for unverified even though I am verified!

Verification gives your customers the confidence to deal with you. I do not deal with anyone who does not have a verified account.

You cannot create a new account every 3 months as you are only permitted to have a maximum of 1 Personal + 1 Premier/Business account and that's it.

    As of now

You have to wait as I think this(limits) is a error and we have nothing to worry!

Wait till paypal announces something on this!

As I have stated earlier please do not panic.
Wait till tuesday for things to clear out.

Also it is fairly legal in US for people of outside countries to open accounts but for Indian nationals to open accounts in foreign countries is illegal. So please take your mind out of that site.

The only thing i fear is some RBI regulation.... if its a paypal glitch it should be fixed soon but i dont see any chance of such a major glitch in a company as big as the size of paypal....

The current boundation on the withdrawl limit to monthly 2500 $ was due to RBI rules and i HOPE with my fingers crossed that same is not the reason for the new changes...

I dont think so that upgrading will make any difference to the limits.

I have a business account and it says your total withdrawal limit remaining is ZERO !!

This problem is ridiculous - i dont see this as a technical glitch, coz a company with so many transactions as Paypal would work out this so called glitch in a wiffy.

I am not sure, this is going to change !

No problem if its $500 monthly limit.

But See the f*****g $3000 TOTAL WITHDRAWL LIMIT.

i.e. our paypal accounts are of no use if we have more than $3000 to withdraw...PayPal keeps the amount more than 3000

As I believe, Limits for unverified accounts were $500/Monthly and $3000/Total, for a while now....

Yes you can, all you need to do is to close your old account and then you can create a new account with the same address and even the same email id.
There is no new or even old RBI or Govt. Regulation that can force such action. Such caps will only discourage and hurt Software and Solution providers. As the More we withdraw from Paypal, more USD India gets..

As long as glitch is concerned, Paypal has been always full of glitches.. So it is no wonder...

If it were a RBI regulation, wouldn't other companies like moneybookers have to force a limit on withdrawals too? (and i don't see any limit there)

So, i still don't think its a RBI thing. Its either a glitch, or the people at paypal have lost their nuts!

Instead of talking about paypal, why dont we change to a different program? Obviously paypal isnt working out, lets just grab 10 good webmasters and coders on here, and create a site called 'dpay' and it is run by digitalpoint.
