Indian paypal not able to recieve funds from balance of senders paypal ?

    a friend of mine was trying to send me money and it showed him a error asking him to add funds to cc ..he has more than 300$ in pp
    when he tried to send funds from same account to a non indian user , it went through

    Is RBI doing anything else with indian paypals again ?

    Indian paypal account holders can't use their pp balance to send someone (non-indian paypal accounts) funds. Only withdrawal allowed to use paypal balance.

    Indian can't use PayPal money to send someone. They can only send money using Credit Card.

    Are both (you and your friend) are Indian. If both are Indian then need credit card to transfer money.

    you guys got my question wrong my friend has greece paypal ..when hes trying to send money to any other paypal its going through but it is not coming to any other indian paypal id ..we dont know the reason

    I have the same issue and already wrote to PayPal.
    OP issue like me is to not receive big funds outside India and from main PayPal balance.

    With Indian Paypal , you can do nothing buy receive money and withdraw them ...You can't use your funds to send money , you can use your credit card to send money via paypal , but that's also not to Indian users , these limitations are not caused to us by paypal , but by our own Indian Government which is good for nothing ...sorry for being very honest..

    @op, It is that way for last 2 years or so time. RBI want paypal users to show their paypal money in Indian bank accounts, Either money is send or received. I really hate this because it cost very high in currency conversion when sending payment via paypal. I prefer to use credit card wherever I can use.
