    Hello all people.

I have a question to all Indian guys here or Indian Legal Issue Experts.

I'v ordered some Electronic Goods from china for my personal use.
The cost value not more than 10k INR.

I know, I will be charged some Custom Duties when my Items reach on Indian Land.

Will I be charged any Custom Duties ???

How much will I be charged in this case?

Where must I pay it ?

What is the Indian Legal Procedure

Thank you in advance to one and all.

    Best Regards ;)

I recently ordered a gift from thinkgeek for a friend of mine , worth around $350, and I was charged $40 or so for customs. It was charged to Fedex and I paid them.

I think the customs duty depends upon the type of item being brought - electronic goods must be having different customs than a car. The info was good for our knowledge. Good thread.
