It is very unlikely that INR would fall back to Rs 45/$ level. IMO 42-42.5 is the max that it can go.

Still it will be 600 INR. No bank gives you so much interest.

Viratshah, let me quote my post!

Exporters are bound to cry owing to this! The reason ? We depend on foreign currencies!

    Hi Mates,

Its a very sad news for INDIANS about the rates.
Recently in paypal i have seen $=39.
Its a bad news that it will be decreasing more and more.
The reason for this is the countries growing economy and the captalistic market.
We may feel bad for our self's but have to proud of the nation that economy is just hiking up and up..

I feel that growing price of INR doesn't ONLY mean that our economy is growing. This can be one reason but this is not the only reason. If you read other posts in this thread, we can see that $ is decreasing against all other currencies so this is perhaps also because of weakning of USA economy as one of the factors.

I just saw this old post of mine posted many months back and I suddenly realised how the situation has changed. The rupee is valuing almost 49 INRfor 1USD and I am sure all fellow Indian freelancers must be happy about this price.
