    am woried as well, am losing about 10k INR every months, from what i used to earn previously, anyways, it is 38 arround, and it may get further down, perhaps it is the time to buy some things, not really good enough to sell:rolleyes:

    Well, if you're pricing your services so low just to undercut US, UK, etc. workers on price alone, then hey, that's life. You'll have to raise prices just like everyone else does. It's business, and goes to show that no matter where you are, you need to have the forethought to be able to compensate for changes that are bigger than your business... and is precisely why you shouldn't charge too little to begin with. There are two easy solutions: 1. Alter your rates. or 2. Alter your target market.

    It's not at all a good news for the folks like us...I am facing almost 10% decrement in my earning while all the produst's(necessery commodities) are getting more and more costly day by day .....


    Although this is a good news for indian economy .....

    When we say import is also cheap, that is correct to some extent.But as a current service provider, I am providing services with compuers already purchased :) so I will get this benefit of cheap import only when I buy something and not for me as I already have my setup.
    But this is fact of life. Demand and supply forces and some other few factors made $ decrease in value. So perhaps there won't be any alternative than to increase prices.

    Well the problem is we got competition from other Asian countries as well... and their currencies are not going up so sharply as the INR.

    I guess we have to learn to be happy with less revenues. :eek: .

    well i have put on hold my adsense payment for this month when dollar will increase i will remove the hold
    curently $1 =rs40
    i will get Rs12000
    and when it will reach =45
    by that time Rs 1500 profit (may be more as my adsense profit will accumulate for this month
