Indian, Currently in Oman. Can I verify using my Indian Credit Card

    In a year I live 10 months in Oman and the rest in India. I have an Indian credit card. But the billing address for my credit card is currently my oman address. If I change that to my Indian address, can I use the same for PayPal verification? Also once I verified, can I use it from Oman?

    The Credit Card company uses a combination of name , card number, billing address and the CVV2 numbers to determine if the one who uses the card owns it.

    Paypal allows you to vary the address of the credit card that you add but you cannot change the country. If you submit it, it may not verify since the details does not tally with the bank's records.

    You could however try and then see if it works. There is no harm trying anyways. If it does not work then you probably just need to find another card which has the details which matches.

    Also, one more thing comes to my mind. If you are using your single Paypal A/c from two different countries, it need to be intimidated to Paypal. Else, there are chances of trouble from Paypal.

    no normally paypal dont limited a account for accessing it from different location.... and also paypal slow down there limited account policy and so now again i dont see too many limited accounts from last month.... also you can authorized someone who live in a different country to access your paypal even if you have personal or permier account...but to do this, i think you may have to call paypal and fax some documents of the person who is going to access your paypal.... by doing this, paypal will not limit a account if access from the country the user is from...

    Now, I have the following questions.

    1. What does a limited account mean? Now I have an Indian unverified account. but accessing (receiving money also) from Oman. haven't faced any problem so far.

    2. I can change my CC billing address to my Indian address. Then, is it possible to verify from Oman.

    3. If I open an account from Oman I can not receive money .I can only send. Is there any other options to receive money using Credit Card. Which is the best company to receive money. I am getting lessthan $ 750 only/month.​
