India Won the first match aganist Sri Lanka:)

    Hi everyone India won the first ODI against Sri Lanka very comfortably by 6 wickets. Dhoni as usual played the captian knock of 61 runs not out.

    Well it is India's 6th win a row and now we can hope that we will repeat same performance like we did against England. Also take mind that we won the match without star batsmen Sehwag.:)

    I could not see live the Sri Lankan batting but 246 runs in 50 overs suggest that they had played too slow and were definitely 30-40 runs short to put India under any pressure..

    India did well in the end to concentrate on singles to finish off the match efficiently.

    Yes you are right! When Sanath was playing other batsmen just stay on pitch and slow down the scoring rate which increased by Sanath, so they were 20-30 run short, if they manage 20 more runs then it would be difficult for us.

    I think india is in good form now only team that can beat india now is Bangladesh. I think BD is going to repeat a history in world cup again.
