India vs Pakistan It's a thrilling tie between India and Pakistan and as always this clash did not disappoint the neutral. Pakistan, chasing 142 for victory, had a relatively decent start and despite losing an early wicket, looked very much in the hunt. But Pakistan lost three wickets in a hurry and that brought India back into the match. Thereafter, India put the brakes on the scoring and until the 18th over, there were very few boundaries. Pakistan came back from the brink in the last two overs and all of a sudden went from needing 39 from 14 to 1 run from 2 balls. India managed to bowl two dot balls that earned them the tie. This was truly one of the best matches ever and definitely the best of the ICC World Twenty20. India top the group by virtue of winning the bowl out while Pakistan are runners-up. Man of the Match is Mohammad Asif for his bowling masterclass of 4-18 The celebrations continue at Kingsmead. We've seen another new aspect to modern day cricket. India are the winners of the first ever bowl out in an ICC World Twenty20 cricket match. Pakistan 141/7 India 141/9 Overs: 20.0 | Run Rate: 7.05 Match Ended Match Tied - India win the bowl out (3-0) Bowl Out India: Virendra Sehwag - Hit Harbhajan Singh - Hit Robing Uthappa - Hit Pakistan: Y Arfat - Miss U Gul - Miss S Afridi - Miss Even Though Pakistan lost , they didnt had anything to be dissapointed at. this is something really different , i was shocked to know how india managed to win, jus saw it all in the news .
It was a fantastic match and India has managed it well... I think DHONI's captain-ship is great !! India ROCKS !!
The win had nothing to do with Dhoni's captaincy. Although the match was great. Both the teams played well.
Don't you think that the field placement of last 2 balls and bowlers he choose for ball down was great????
actually after india was 37/4 i got pissed and shut down the tv, never knew that it would get so close and end up a win for india.
Pakistani bowlers are known to hit a single stump. It was quite surprising when all 3 balls did not hit the stump. Looked suspicious to me.
No, the players were not warmed up. All Indian players were already on the field, warmed up. Pakistani bowlers were sitting on the bench the whole time.
