[India] Which Bank to chosse

    i want to open a new bank a/c to get my paypal verified
    so pls suggest a bank which has min ac balc arround rs1000
    am in delhi

    You can go with State Bank of India or Bank of Baroda or Corporation Bank.

    There are many banks like SBI,Canara bank,UCO bank,Bank of Baroda in which you can get a account for minimum 1000Rs.

    I doubt if any bank would willingly agree to open a new account with a facility of minimum balance of Rs. 1000... especially for a new customer! I guess one needs to open a fixed deposit account as well... to avail such a facility!

    I had a a/c in bank of baroda with 1200 minimum balance , ucan try it or else SBI or any small PSU bank

    State Bank of India is the best for both offline and online services

    you can easily verify your paypal with it

    Go for PNB, they open account even with 500. Take your Student ID card if you have, that helps to get low min. balance.

    You can open a zero balance account if you don't have any bank account!
    And you can open in any bank you want like HDFC, ICICI, etc.
    All of them open zero balance accounts known as No Frills Account!
