Yeh mate true. To be safe 450 is probably enough. This Australian team can't be underestimated. They seem as if they won't get the record 17 thats for sure. :D

Well India have a great chance and they have times too. So if India do abtting tomorrow full day with 3 RR than we could be reach 270 to 320 runs. Which make total tally upto 450 Runs. Which is easy for India to bowled Aussi in 2 days.

If only India can manage to make a total above 300 in the 2nd innings :)

Since its a cricket thread. Thoughts on Shahid Afridi as captain of Pakistan? I think this is seriously a great move. I love watching him hit sixes and im sure his captaincy is going to be entertaining aswell.

Well I can't imagine about it.:D I know he lead Pakistan A sometime back but I heard news that Malik is not fit. So who know he would be Pakistan's next Captain.

    Afridi as skipper ?

    I'm not too sure.

He is an extremely entertaining batsman, but is certainly not a consistent one. He is popular, no doubt about that.

He is not a regular in the Pakistan test team either.

Yeh i have been reading and apparently Malik is injured. And afridi was given captaincy against the Zimbabweans leading the Patrons eleven.

And romour is if he captains well in the first couple of games, he will be given the job for the Australian tour as Malik has lost confidence of his players.

Afridi has the right personality traits to be a good leader though.

This is actually pretty low when comparing to other sports.

And its obvious that Australia and England aren't punished as much as India and Pakistan are.

Just look at how slow the Australian over rate has been for this whole series and they haven't even been warned yet.

    True enough.

    But people in glass houses...

I think the Aussie team are not sportsmen.

But then again, I don't think many of the others are either... and the stats seem to back that up.

I was pretty dissapointed how Gilchrist and Ponting carried on in the last test match. But they are cleaning up there act now. They know thats no way to carry on, on a cricket field.

Great to see Gilchrist take time out to congratulate Kumble in taking his 600th wicket. Only the 3rd man ever to do so.

It's also amazing how the Australian commentators gave very little praise to this great feat. They need to be more gracious and give respect where its due....like Gilchrist.

Agree. I think Tony Greig, Mark Nicholas and Mark Taylor especially need to pick up there act. Not so much Mark Nicholas actually but there commentary has been terrible for the entire series.

Well one sad news is Sachin Tendukar is out agian LBW by Lee. India 116/4 and lead is 234 runs. India still need atleast 100 to 150 Runs.

We have still Laxman, Ganguly and Dhoni as a batsmen so it could be easy for us.

Yep, India still have batsmen left, but this match is slipping away slowly, Australia can easily chase down 350+ runs with two days of time!

    update:
Saurav out for a duck [0]

    Hey Bhagwan!
Well India have a good advantage of two batmen and Pathan is doing a good job. India needs to slow down the game because RR is over 4.50.

I hope this two batsmen stay on pitch till lunch.
