Rather than having to hear marching orders from the selectors, it is better for him to retire...with his head held high !!! Ganguly and Kumble were wise to gauge the drift and got a good farewell...in return.
There is already too much pressure on Dravid and that is not helping him regain his form. He is at a stage in his career where he does not have time on his side to make amends. I am of the opinion that he should gracefully retire.
