    I once used offshorexperts.com to find someone for a small coding/optimization job. Don't remember the company in India though. I suggest selecting a few companies who look like possible candidates and contact them with a lot of questions. If they can't communicate, you'll soon know it.

    The question might be like;

    1. From how many years they are in business?

    2. Can they provide testimonials and site information that they have worked out for achieving better ranking ?

    3. How many hours will they put into working on your site? How soon for results ?

    4. Can they describe and produce recent successful SEO results? If so, can I contact those clients for references?

    5. Do they offer money back guarantee?

    I have tried outsourcing some work and have had good and bad experiences.

    The most important thing is to find people who can keep you informed regularly with updates about work, because when you are outsourcing, the last thing you want, is to be worrying if work will be finished when you have told YOUR client it will be.

    Another thing to remember is that it is a human being you are working with, not a cheap deal, which can be lost when you are working with only an internet connection between you.

    I guess reference check is the best way to do it !!
    That should prove the claims they are putting up.

    Thanks.

    It's my opinion that people in north america and europe should think hard before hiring people from India. while they are cheap by our standards to hire, people that live in north america also need money to live and eat.

    I for one will never knowingly hire someone from India, but I have no issues hiring an person from india that lives and works in north america.

    I'm not racist, not by a longshot, I'm just one that believes we should support our developers first and foremost.

    I don't usually jump into these kinds of conversations but I have to agree with canadian man
    we have to stop the flood of cheap foriegn outsourcing and think of our own people.

    India != quality

    people who hire them are not doing any good for those of us who really need the work.

    you can't go on any freelancer board without seeing offers for every job from someone in india that will undercut by 50% or more on anyone who makes an offer or go through craigslist and see indian people offering services for way to cheap.

    My own personal policy is to not hire anyone overseas, except for the UK and Australia, it's unfortunate but I must support people that actually need it.

    Know let's get honest... 90% of Indians aren't good in It, why ?! because the Indian IT market, is extra exploited... i mean ,what the hech , there are lot's of guys that think india have the best price for programming/computers, blah blah blah and all shity indians think they are the best and they want to make lot's of money! in the old days, when <h1> <b> <title> and repeting the keywords was 90% of what it counted for ganging damm good Yahoo/Google positions that some indian "idiots" where asking price as up as 1500 USD for on-site optimization , lol ?! 1500 USD for what ? for some tricks anybody could read/understand in 30 minutes? you known ... they are like cheaters most of them... because most of people having online business... didn't knew anything about SEO... I mean 1500 USD for 3 hours for somebody without experience/school of work is really a stole, no?!

    I also don't usually jump into these kinds of conversations but canadian man seems to be unlogical. Indian provides quality (I am not saying every guy. Every guys from usa, uk, aus also cannot provide quality) and yet cheap.

    Why one should pay high for same work? Think work is continuously outsourced to india, why?? because indian provides quality work. I can bet, no one will come back to cheap guy if he is not providing quality.

    I beleive quality is before money. Look for best, do not get into emotions, business do not run by emotions. Pick up guys after thinking from your mind. I'll again say Believe in the Best

    Man , did you ever used rentacoder or guru.com for finding programmers?I think that the price/quality of 50% of americans from there is much more compettive then indians ... ++++ 90% of all americans from RAC are more seriouse... you known , not bidding on projects they can't do , not fucxxx with your time, because of that I respect americans...
