Hi Everybody, As one of our very helpful members posted in one of the threads, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1766820&goto=newpost -> post #65 by rahuldas14 , it is now becoming clear that this is INDEED a real mail from PayPal , though like many other members I did not receive it on my gmail id (not even in spam), we will now have to withdraw funds in 30 days and will also need to use credit cards for any outgoing payments/expenditures. Sure enough, this will severely complicate our work, but we will need to move ahead with whatever we've got. So guys, would you people share whether anybody actually started using the CC for payments etc? And what is the procedure for paying through PayPal using CC. Also are there any other safe (and popular) means of payments apart from PayPal? Would a virtual CC work, or a Netsafe card? What are the charges involved when transferring money using CC, both for the sender as well as the receiver. Let's sort this out together.
I would rather wait for policy updation on their policy page, before putting my mind on this matter! AFAIK... cc payments incur more fees on the receiver and not sender and the seller actually gets to use certain stipulated period of free usage of credit card money! Many people strictly do business with insistence on paying through own funds and not using CC funds... and that is where we might loose some business! Regards, RightMan
