Well, the story was published in Times of India, Hindustan Times and Was on STAR news too. But all of a sudden it just went off.. I think the govt scrapped it under the official secrets act, so we dont hear about it anymore. So much for all that... time will tell

Therefore it could be real, the government is just sensoring it because if someone went to steal it, they would find it hard to guard and protect them. Im not going to read all the posts here, but it's been known that China has $1 Trillion sitting in the bank. Doubt India can beat that.
Keyword there is economy. China has $1 trillion sitting in the bank account. THeir economy is probably another trillion.
It's worth noting that the US is by far the largest economy in the world today. China and India will not catch up for a long time. It's easy for third world countries to grow at a fast rate.
yes indian economy is in the top12, i have seen the news on BBC and CNN!! india became the trilian $ economy a few days back, most of europein contries are far below that level! but then if you consider poverty is backwordness, then india will always stay back, because in indian villages, people just like to stay poor! they hate money and all other stuff that we enjoy using. they live a normal, healthy life, away from technology and cancer! they are the real developed people of the world! most of them die at 90+ age and lead a healthy, disease free life cheers
