    Hi Aditya,
    For me they never took more than 24hrs. I think, as some one already pointed out, the time taken to clear chq depends on frequency of transactions between the branch we deposit chq and the bank/branch the cheque is issued.

    Anyway congrats...

    How long does HDFC take to credit USD checks for you guys? They take over a month for me, and I emailed them about it and got back this bull...

    I use StanC and Citibank to drop my cheques and StanC clears it within 5 business days maximum. 3 days in most of the cases...
    Citibank clears it in just a single day.
