I want to ask does Web 2.0 gets easily indexed as after 3-4 months 13 out of 15 web 2.0 properties I established is not indexed even after bookmarking them, all the content was unique.
if your web 2.o sites are not indexed you have add it to google webmaster tools and and index your website where google will crawl your website immediately.
Login your Google webmaster tool, click "Crawl>> fetch as Google" and submit your URL for index. Login your Bing Webmaster tool, click "Dashboard >> Configure My Site >> Submit URLs". After few days, try "site:yourdomain.com" in the search box to see whether your web pages are indexed by search engine. Hope this helps!
I see that 90% of the article directory links are not indexed also though these website get regular Google crawl? Also google is indexing bad backlinks only, I don't how they are getting build-up.
The problem is some web 2.0 sites have no follow links in them & you'd have to pay for membership or an upgrade. When the links become no follow at times Google does not read them but Alexa does. If anything you can check your site at alexa.com & check if its there. You can see both nofollow and dofollow links there, even though some people find it useless it does help track your links to important sites. I would continue building links and not worry so much on finding the link on google, it takes time until you find it and at times you can wait about a month before you can see a difference.
Yupp, what Mike Lee said. When I've had web 2.0 properties or other social network links I wanted to get listed in Google/Bing, I've submitted the links manually in their webmaster tools. I know Bing allows you to submit up to 10 links/day manually to start off. I don't recall if Google has a limit/day, but I'd utilize those tools right away.
If your web2.0 is not index then you have to login webmaster tool and index them as well as another way is do search engine submission then after do social bookmarking submission. It will be index as soon as possible.
You can only index own website pages with Fetch as Google tool, not web 2.0 pages as they are not on your domain.
