Indexing script

I m willing to create a script for indexing headers of all pages of my root directory.
i am willing to store the headers information at mysql database.
any idea to solve this problem?

php curl can do that. you should access your pages using curl with some option set to get only the header of a page. try googling about this.

 

Use the php get_headers() function

 

actually i m looking for a script that will collect all the headers of pages of my site and store it in the database.

[when ever the script will execute, it will collect all the headers information and store it at the database.]
