I am having a problem understanding why google only indexes my main domain page. Google webmaster tools says its indexed 80 of the pages, but in the search results it always just shows the main domain name. I feel I would get better positioning and better results for certain keywords I receive traffic from, if it would show the www.domain.com/result-i-want-here/ instead of just the domain.com Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change something?
You are only doing link building for the home page, you need to work out on inner page link building too if you want to get traffic and rank well in SERP
You can submit your website pages to top bookmarking sites and it will help your website to get indexed more ..
I agree with the others that your key strategy needs to be about boosting backlinks to your inner pages, as google will then crawl these pages more regularly.
backlinks is what you need... but it's kind of hard to get backlinks to your inner pages... everybody wants front page linking!... social bookmarking might be a solution, but that's not organic!
If you want indexing for individual pages then you should target every page for indexing by doing social bookmarking and directory submission of inner pages. you should also use the inner page link as an anchor text while you are posting article to different sites. hope this information will help you.
