Indexing in yahoo

    indexing in yahoo directories through any software does it matter?

    What did you mean? If you mean your domain has appeared in Yahoo Directory search because the other website listed in Yahoo Directory linking to you, then it does not matter. The link from Yahoo Directory will be matter only if your domain is listed there.

    Question not clear. But I found out that advertising in yahoo ad network makes your site be indexed in yahoo very fast.

    It doesn't matter unless that software doing it right way.
    I always prefer manual submission to directories like DMOZ, Yahoo, BOTW etc..

    I agree a manual submission to the larger directories like Yahoo give you the chance to be original and make sure everything is correct.

    It should not matter. Another trick for indexing that works is post a feed on my yahoo page.

    It's better to submit manually, because some directories require image and e-mail approval and lot's of other information that regular software won't provide

    It will took a couple of time before your site gets approved on Yahoo Directory.
    Mine is still not approved.
