indexing forums

    Its pretty simple to tell google about your domain by submitting your portals sitemap but i need my smf to also be crawled but i have 800 posts and the thing is not even there on google..all the topics are unique etc..what should i do?

    I would have to say more Backlinks my friend.. crawl rates are seemingly controlled by age and backlinks NOT the quality or amount of content

    Sounds like U are 'link light'

    Ive got an SMF Forum too and Ive found that Yahoo are all over it but Google hasnt had much of a look in yet. When I had a PHPBB forum a while ago Google were all over it and nothing much from Yahoo. :rolleyes:
