I have a site that we used to have set up so that users would submit some information - name, locatoin, dealership, etc... in order to see our articles on the site. There was no charge for the enrollment, just some information. Since removing that we have gotten indexed quite a bit by Google and other search engines. Does anybody know if we could set it up so that we could basically have the best of both worlds? Some way to index the site but still allow for registration to view articles? We used to get a lot of information about users, which was great but want to ensure our site is indexed at the same time!
Use a PHP Script to allow users having javascript enabled to not view the article, but allow those who have js disabled. All search engines have js disabled Get someone to make the script if you cant.
