Hello, i have a brand new site with wordpress on it and with no seo configuration(meta tags) and google indexed it. I deleted wordpress and changed to a simple html page and added meta tags to source but the description and title on google wouldn't update. I also submited a sitemap and created a webmaster account. But the website is cached as it was when i had wordpress installed. Any way to change that? Thank you

Wait for Google crawl your website. You can also submit your site in social bookmarking sites so it will help to get index with new title tags..If you have already submitted your website then edit it...

Also my webmaster account shows no data on anything. Does this means that google must re-crawl my site? If so how can i make it crawl faster? Thanks

Check the meta tags are placed correctly.
using the various meta tags on your page are not substantial, they are nonetheless useful in controlling how the search engines index and list your page. Since tags like the description and robots tag require very little effort to add to your page
