Indexed urls dropped greatly

    I checked my google webmaster tools today and found my indexed urls dropped from more thant 6th to only about 1th.Who can tell me the reason?Thanks!

    If the site is new its happening bcz its happend to me, but for old site dont have much idea

    Is that a new site?
    If thats, give it some time to get indexed again. It happened with one of my new blogs and got back in index after a couple of weeks.

    Things only seem to stabilise with new sites after a few months and sometimes after a year. Backlinks and indexed URLs reported by Google Webmasters can go up and down fairly regularly.
