Does anybody pay attention why the number of indexed pages moves up and down, like couple days ago I could have 100k next day 120k day after 90k and next day 120k ? any idea ?

I believe this issue can be affected by sitemaps.

Some sites I've used without sitemaps rarely drop, whilst those with, seem to be constantly updated.

Its probably down to the information within the sitemap and making changes so it updates less frequently for pages that don't need updating so often.

It's easy, because those pages which are not in the main index went supplemental.

Now , its looks like that number of indexed pages decreased by 1,000 every day, does anybody see something like that with your numbers ?
