    Hi,

This is my first post in this forum, so if I make any mistake, please correct me.

I have two questions. i believe one of them is related with this section, other one is related with PPC section, but I would like to ask all at once.

2 months ago I had an idea. (an idea like rapidlibrary, but different) I have bought a rapidlibrary clone from someone, its pagerank was 4, and unique daily hits were 2k. The hits were steady, so they were going no where. (unfortunately, please don't ask me the website url, I can't give it for some reasons)

I have changed the website completely and launched my idea. It has become a successful idea, the unique hits are now 15k daily , and 100.000 pageviews daily. (in just two months) I have just bought one link by the way.

However, I guess, I hit something. Google has indexed 25k pages, and stopped there. So, I am getting less and less improvement everyday.

%50 of the hits are coming from search engines, around 750 hits referrers and the rest is direct traffic.

I know google webmaster tools do not show quality information about backlinks, but it had 1k backlinks there, and now it has 3k backlinks. However, the pagerank dropped to 3 last week. What could be the reason do you think?

Rapidlibrary also do not have good pagerank but has 20 million pages indexed. So, why it stopped at 25k? What could be the reason also for this? I would buy backlinks anyway, but do you think it will solve the problem?

My third question is, I have no ads, and do not think to place any until it gets 50-60 k unique hits. Also, if I place the ads, I do not want to kill the product, so I don't plan to put warez ads there (like toolbar download etc) What do you suggest for a site like rapidlibrary? Are CPX , adbrite etc the only option? Do you know anything different?

    Thanks,

Since your site primary purpose will be searching you may want to inquire into lijit - monetization using search. Other options are project wonderful, clicksor, bidvertiser, etc. (adsense alternatives). You may have problem with adsense for rapidlibrary type of site because it frequently contains warez and torrents.

yes, you are right. sorry for "hypothetical" question. :)

Anyway, it seems it did not stop (google may have stopped indexing some websites before and after pagerank change) the index is now 30.000, and hits are now 17k unique hits daily.

I wonder, what is the average revenue of a warez website based on its pageview? I have a friend who owns a warez forum and generates $3000 (after expenses) and the website has 60k unique hits daily. Is this something average or can I make more than that (without warez ads) any idea?
