I was looking through my indexed pages of my site earlier today and noticed when i put site:http://www.mysite.com in, it only showed some of the pages that i wanted to be indexed, but when i tried site:http://www.mysite.com and the title of the page after it it shows me that google has indexed the page. Why is this happening, could it be a dup content penalty, or what other explanations could it be? Thanks in advance
ohhh........... it does not mean you have duplicate content. site:http://www.mysite.com and the title of the page shows result ot those pages which have same title in their title tag, description tag or in page content. It is search result for that title which you use within your site. Do not worry about tis. I think i have given answer to your question as i understood.
But if goggle knows it exists then why isn't it indexed properly and show up when i search site:http://www.mysite.com?
My Dear Friend First of all you clear your doubt regarding this google query search. When your paste http://www.mysite.com then it will only show you very few index pages of your site either one or two. This is not how you look your index pages. If you want to view then index pages then you can look it in google by site:www.mysite.com then only you can get the exact result. Cool Mate and Enjoy your Day Dashanan Sharma
