Indexed pages droped from 20k to 260 is there something to worry about?

    Hello DP,

    I am just wondering if there is anything to worry about if google has just dropped indexed pages of my site from 20000 to just 260

    Should I worry?
    My site's PR has increased after this update though...

    Do you guys have any thoughts?

    Same here., but rankings dint drop and pr went from 0 to 6

    I was noticing during this PR update that even with site command it showed Results 1 - 1 of about 20000 from and I could only see few pages.... but today its saying Results 1 - 1 of about 260 from

    Weired...

    Give it a few days.
    Happens at times and the pages should be back soon.

    Not always. Sometimes your pages may not recover and it could be an penality. But I wouldn't worry to much if you have not broken any webmaster guidelines.

    if you did not loose your backlimks , there is nothink to worry . i think you must check your backlink .
