There's something strange going on with my blog. I currently have 26 posts with unique content. I have an XML sitemap submitted to Google. When a new post is made, the sitemaps is automaticly updated. When I checked my Webmastertools at Google a 2 weeks ago, almost every link sent was indexed. Also when I made a new post, it was indexed the day after. This was great, but now I see the time has changed. There are 28 links submitted through sitemap, but only 14 are indexed. This used to be 21 ... How does this come? Is Google penalizing me for something? I'm using Wordpress with All in One SEO, XML-Sitemap, YARPP and PageNavi plugins.
Yes, I know it's practically impossible to have every single page indexed immediately, but what I don't understand is that the number of total indexed pages is decreasing. From 21 indexed pages to 14 indexed pages. This really looks like some sort of penalty. And no, those are not pages that are blocked with robots.txt.
No, there is no penalty, it has happened to me too. Sometimes it drops from 60-70 to 0. I think it is normal..and you just need to wait
Indexed pages are always vary and regularly update your blog and submit your blog into blog directory. So you should not worried about it and do seo work continuously. Thanks NV Marketer
Get some links to inner pages and it will change. Google Webmaster Tools results are never the same as google.com
