indexed pages but renamed.

I just tried to validate my site for the first time and I got the message that I had to put the code on pages that arent' there any more.

I have many pages that I renamed and are awaiting for fading away from google and other search engines, for example I just renamed all htm pages to php and redirected old urls to new urls.

Can I do anything about this problem?

 

go to google and ask them to remove the URL's from their index

http://www.google.com/remove.html
