I just checked today (using site: command in google) and found that the indexpages of my site has incresed with 20 000+ pages

anybody having the same good news?

maybe this means a close date to the PR update, but who cares anyway :p

Increase in index page is normal as we regularly update our site but it doesn't mean that this is a sign of google PR update.

It's important to check your supplementals. Just checking overall page count will not give you information about your supplemental pages, which don't get traffic.

    Do they still have supplementals?

I thought they'd gotten rid of that

Wish I can say the same thing, but I have one site that has fell of the face of the earth from google. The other sites moved up in page count and in rankings.

Checking site: without checking supplementals is like swimming without water.

This never means a pr update, this is Google, this happens every time with google. Its just a normal Google practice to eat some, and spit some pages.

It's normal and it's happening all the time, and got nothing to do with Pagerank updates.
