You should use a site map for sure, but also use a plugin called All In One SEO so that it makes all your posts search engine friendly.

Two of the most common ways most people will use to get there posts, pages and sites indexed is through the use of pinging services and bookmark submissions. Pinging tells the search engines there is new content that should be crawled and bookmarking to heaviliy trafficked bookmarking sites gives your post a better chance at being crawled at a much faster rate and getting indexed.

hmm google webmaster tools are quite helpful but bookmarking services give the most exposure and indexing

There could be a lot of useful information in the comments. I'm wondering if Google or any other search engine indexes the comments with !joomlacomment.

I was also wondering if there is a search plugin for joomla that would find words written in the comments of !joomlacomment.

    thanks,
