Indexed in Google Images, But Filtered with SafeSearch

    Hi guys,

I've noticed a great drop in unique visits of my shirtless (male, which is totally SFW) website from Google Image search a couple of months ago. I just realized all images from my site is considered "adult" somehow so they're still available for those who turned the filter off - but unfortunately most of users didn't exactly noticed the filter at all so they stayed filtered all the time. How do Google categorize a website to have adult content because I still see other similar shirtless images on the filtered search. Any ideas?

I don't know much about Google Images, but does your web page include any words which may be counted as adult?

What is the title and filename of the image?

I guess, but those are just words and most of my images description contains the word "shirtless" in it for example "shirtless aaron eckhart". Is that considered adult?

Hmm... Most of my alt tags contains "shirtless" followed by a name, the title varies but that maybe the case since I didn't got filtered until 6 months the site is online. I'll have a check later. Thanks!
