Indexed from 6 to 50+ in one day :(

    Just wondering whats happened to one of my sites...

    Yesterday it was number 7 on a selected keyword yesterday now its not even in the top 50

    can anyone explain whats happened?

    How old is this site?

    If its a new site then such variation in ranking is normal.

    This happens all the time. Usually this gotta do something with backlinks(both yours and your competitors) as well as crawling of website.

    My forum jumps from page 1-2 for the keyword webmaster forum all the time.

    Could be anything, depending on your latest activities. Could be the "new site" factor.

    BTW, indexing does not have anything to do with that.

    It is just probably because your site is new and the variation like that is normal for a new site.

    Is the keyword competitive? If so, be glad you are in the top 50, and do some link building to get your rankings back. The trick is not getting good rankings, the trick is maintaining these rankings. Maintaining good rankings is what I feel builds the worth of a site, despite a website's page rank.

    cheers guys ill keep backlinking from time to time, the keyword aint that competative but there are alot of searches for that term daily though, researched hours on end with Market Samurai

    this ranking and making money making some criminals to do anything at all to get the rating. mr j. ryder of the spicegirlslondonescorts.com has turned to blackmailing and steeling photos from rival agencies just to have sixty faces, half ghost faces do not exist anyone asking for them, he just sends his wife instead, again an other criminal activity .. he will do anything criminal to earn illegal tax free income from escorting business...

    Make sure that you promote your new sites at a steady pace. If you create 10 links today (and ping them), then do the same tomorrow, the day after that and so forth. That will show Google that your site is not spam and your serps will stabilize.
