I have created a site a week ago and put links to it in many directories and in my own websites, but google hasm't indexed me yet :s how much more time it can get to get indexed? thnaks
this depends on whether Google has visited the link pages and the PR of the linkpages. I had a site indexed in two days via a PR7 link
I don't know how much time it can take but since you have lots of links google will not take long to crawl your site. You can try to add google sitemap, I've been reading that it helps pages getting indexed faster.
It depends on many things as I am sure you already know, like how many inbound links you currently have and the value those links hold in Google's eyes (meaning do they get crawled regularly or not). Usually a good indicator of how often a site is being crawled by Google is the PR value of the page you are on. Try to get as many related links pointing at your site with higher values and it shouldn't take longer than a week to get at least the url indexed. Once your url gets listed check back to see if the title and descriptions are there too and see how many pages Google is finding on your site. You may want to think about implementing a Google site map if you have a larger site with many pages or long url strings etc. There are stages to the indexing cycle usually, so do not be surprised if it takes a couple of days to get your url, titles, descriptions and important pages all indexed.
