    Hi,

I have one of my myspace website up and running since 16 july but the website is still not index by Google. I have 2500 index pages in MSN and 6100 pages in Yahoo. I have created a sitemap and submitted it to google. I keep updating my website with new content all the time. I have done some link exchange and added it to some directories.

Any ideas what else i can do to get it indexed or must i just wait.

    Thanks for some advice

yes me too - although I am finding a slightly different problem. The index seems to update every Sunday - and my placement in certain results seems to change ona regular basis - but this of others dont.

I strongly believe that sitemaps will help. Personally, i just created a sitemaps reflecting the database and it work ( www.hoprofit.com/sitemaps/home.html ). Almost every thread listed.

Today i checked google sitemap and found out that Google indexed 46 pages of my website. That is after I did a reinclusion request on the 16 of september. I am glad that it start to index my website because my google traffic was almost zero.

So the conclusion it that a reinclusion request helps if you think that there is a problem with index your website.

    Thanks for your advise drhyperlaur

I have just been through the exact problem and it resolved the same way.

It seemed (for my site) the problem can be through adding too much content too quickly

I dont have the reason yet but it looks the same as your problem. I added a lot of content in a short periode and then i resubmitted the Google sitemap. Now i know not to do that anymore :)

Didn't know reinclusion requests helped so much. I will try this on one of my sites... hopefully it gets back into the index.
