Index Url Count decreasing??

As i am adding more and more posts, my indexed url count is decreasing, Earlier this month google showed 1900 urls indexed out of 2100, and now within 2 or 3 days, its showing 1666 urls indexed out of 2500 urls , i did submit sitemaps to google as well, nothing happening, site traffic is ok, but i m worried what is this??

Please suggest what to do??

 

Am I correct in assuming that all of your content is unique?

 

As you add new pages, the older ones often become buried so deep that they have almost no PageRank, are harder to find and of no interest to google.
If those deep pages have no external links then they will be dropped eventually.
You would need a high PageRank for google to take the time to deep crawl every page.

 

Don't be too worried about indexing issue on Goolge or other engines. Even if you have not added any new pages, you would also notice such fluctuations, IMO. Performing deep linking strategies like social bookmarking would be helpful for this purpose.

But the best solution is just to build quality backlinks, and have a structured sitemap - especially for your high number of pages

 

I have experiences with many of my websites regardless to how much link popularity they have. It seems Googlebots acting weird lately about index and cache page procedure.
