    Hi,

Google pros, just a quick question for you:

the blog in my signature, I just set it up yesterday on a 8 year old domain.

When I checked iwebtool and site:www.atdinner.com, I came up empty.

Is the domain banned from Google?

    Much appreciated.

    Have a great New Year

No results found, attempting a different look-up...

The domain name has no PageRank value, it is LIKELY to be banned.

The domain name has no records with Google. It is either new or MAY BE banned.

    what does this mean???

    is it banned or not?

It means they don't know, and there is no way to tell for sure anyway. It's possible that because your site is new (regardless of how old the domain is) it hasn't been added to Google's index yet.

We don't know for sure, because it is likely that that the domain was expired or dropped then bought again leading to the index wiping all the previous content on atdinner.com

If I wanted to index it really quick, just posting it here in my signature, should do the trick, correct?

    Thanks a lot.

sorry, I am a little impatient, since I really like the domain name and the fact that is old.

I appreciate all your comments .

Thank You all and "happy new year"

Not really, no. You'll have to wait for Google to get around to crawling your site (which will happen pretty quickly), then it will take longer for the index to be updated and for your site to appear in the results. So long as Google is aware of your site, it will get round to indexing it eventually, you just have to wait.

By the way, I hate your theme, it stretches the page and a lot more faults are with the theme as well.

do you know of a better theme around? I thought the ads blended very nicely.

what about the faults? What is it that you are reffering to, please?

    Thank You again.

Blogging and Pinging can get your site indexed pretty fast.
BTW, You got a pretty good domain. Did you buy it or got it expired?
Im going into the expired domains business in 08.
