Index Pages in Google.com

    We need help that our Sitemap stats showing in Google webmaster tools are as under:-

    Sitemap stats
    Total URLs: 25,321
    Indexed URLs: 21,042

    But when we search in google.com via site:www.site url.com , we find that our links in google are 4525 in last week today we check and find these are 3895.

    So what is this as in webmaster tools Indexed URLs are 21,042 .

    try with http and without www you will find different numbers

    results are coming down and down as under:-

    Results 1 - 10 of about 3,750 from www.****.com. (0.31 seconds) -27-07-2009
    Results 1 - 10 of about 3,680 from www.****.com. (0.48 seconds) 28-07-2009

    so now ?
