index page not in site:www.mydomain.com

    my index page is not in the first place when i made a search in google for
    site:www.mydomain.com

    what could be the reason . i know it gives me the number on index pages but my main page is not in the first place

    There could be a number of reasons but its very difficult to say without knowing what your url is.
