Index page is not recognized.

the Index page is not recognized, and thus when i enter let's say domain.com/
it shows a page not found, and if i enter domain.com/index.php it works fine.

where is the problem?
hosting?

 

have you defined the index page you want in your .htaccess file in your web root.

ie

thats the only thing i can think of.

 

Also capitalizing the I on index can cause issues sometimes too.

wow i just understood what happend, all files were chmod to 705 (WTF??)
