Index of the homepage

Hi

I noticed that my homepage has been taken out of the google index. So now, the first indexed page is the forum rather than the original homepage.

Why did that happen? and how can I fix it?

Didn't understood properly. You have a site and a forum both on the same domain name. Right?

And now the forum page is showing up and the homepage is not showing up. Am i right?

You goto http://www.google.com/webmaster for more info. I think you can have a check for your sitemap.xml file.

 

Well I have it setup there with a sitemap but i don't understand what i need to do.

 

You need use one free sitemap creator (generator) to get a sitemap.xml file and do step by step as google webmaster guide (verify your site --> add sitemap). And wait...

 

I have had that for months now

this is a new thing i just noticed today, that my homepage isn't indexed anymore

 

Oops, that's strange! But I think your site is in crawling cycle. Keep waiting...
