One new website still couldn't be indexed...It's been over three weeks since I submited the google sitemap. Is there something wrong?
People are paying to much attention to sitemaps! This is so sad. The natural mechanism for indexing is that Googlebot comes to your page from an external link, crawls your website and puts its pages into serps. Why using sitemaps at all?
Try to get backlink from already indexed page. That should speedup the process. Also check what you are using and what you have submitted? 4 versions are possible http:// https:// http:// www. https:// www.
on simple trick can do it. Get a backlink from High-authority page and it will get index in hours if not minutes. You might ask. How can I get a backlink for a new page that nobody knows about yet? Simple answer: promote it. Start blogging (in blogger.com) or share on twitter (if you have a decent channel already)
There are tons of services and social media where you can place a link, nofollow or dofollow to your new content. All you need is a little work to rewrite or rearrange your original content so that it is not duplication.
Search Console should be your first port of call. That will tell you if the page CAN be indexed. At that point you can manually submit for indexation if it hasn't already been crawled. Alternatively it may address what's preventing it from being indexed if there's a technical reason for this. At any rate you should definitely be using Search Console.
Sometimes just submitting your website's sitemap xml in google is not enough and you need consistent action like sharing your site pages content in different social media platforms to increase awareness.
What is your website URL? Is your site linked to GSC? (Google Search Console) GSC can tell you if your pages are indexed and if not, the reasons why.
